Together We Stand

This is a stained glass panel using lead came technique and copper wire overlay.   A co-worker asked me to come up with a piece of glass art for him but had no idea what imagery he wanted.  So again left with my own devices I decided to create his "portrait".  Having been a US Navy Nurse for many years-I used colors, emblems and symbolism associated with Naval Officers and nurses-to create a mirror image of him!
