Barrel Lampshade for Antique Floor Lamp

I prefer the quality and nostalgia of antiques, especially lamps.  When I found this antique brass floor lamp, I was unable to find the appropriate shade that did it justice.  I decided to design a barrel shaped stained glass piece that would complement the lamp.  Using scrap glass in burnt orange and amber, I designed the shade to be 16" x 10" and used a 16" drum lamp shade ring as the form.  I alternated the piece size and randmonly placed each piece.  To give the solder lines an antique look, I mixed black and copper patina.  Immediately after applying, and while still wet, I used steel wool to age the look.
