Chinese Crested Dog Mirror

A custom order for a client of their Chinese Crested dog that had recently passed away. I was provided a photo to design a pattern from, but the client asked to have the dog in pajamas, as this breed of dog is hairless on their body and their dog ofter wore them for warmth. The cistomer also wanted this piece to be a functional mirror, so the dog was overlaid on top on the circular mirror. I used a lot of wire overlay to give the effect of loose hairs on the dog's head. Measures 20" in diameter.
