Kitty-AmberLyn's Stained Glass

This piece was fired in stages.  Some areas are one layer built up to three. I used system 96 and the new spirit glass.  The wiskers are made from hot wire which I placed very carefully and did the sign of the cross as I closed the kiln, hoping they wouldn't sink into the glass.  I was delightfully surprised when I opened the kiln the next day! I can't remember all the temps I used!  I painted the butterfly and edges before firing.
