White Dogwood Branch

A multi-dimensional artwork created to be presented on a wall or table-top. The white glass flower petals have been kiln slumped, foiled, patinaed in muted bronze and lacquered with salmon pink highlights. The flower centers are copper wire, individually soldered and layer-lacquered in green and yellow, then twisted and solder-joined to the petals to form the flower. The leaves are variegated green, kiln slumped, foiled and patinaed in faded black. The branch is comprised of multiple strands and thicknesses of copper wire, twisted to shape, soldered and patinaed in faded black. Both flowers and petals are twisted and solder-joined to the branch, creating a life-life presentation of a blooming white dogwood. The piece measures 16" x 13" x 6".
