This organic bowl was made with Bullseye powder and this technique taught by Glenda Kronke. The first layer was created by mixing turquoise, indigo blue, and, french vanilla., I formed a circle w/ the powder and created a pattern in the powder w/ a knife blade. The blend of colors, a reaction between the sulfer and copper, created a wonderful iron color and the slits expanded to form ovals. I flipped the piece, added mint green and neo-lavender and fired again. The piece was then slumped in a molded piece of Silke-Mat. I love the endless possibilities of working with powders!
