Fused Glass Cherry Blossom Trees

Inspired by the early blossoming of the cherry trees around my home! I created three fused glass cherry blossom trees, fired in the kiln five times as I built the colors and depth of the trees. The first layer is sprinkled powdered glass to create the sky, land, and water. Then adding brown paint for the trees and reflection, and beggining to build the pink blossoms. Then next layer, adding more pink, greens and yellow frit. And again. All the pink glass is individually chopped.
