Shazam

One of my favorites!  Every so often, you create a piece that speaks to you personally and you hate to see it leave the studio.  At 22" wide by 15" high, Shazam is not a particularly large piece, but it exhibits a great deal of energy.  Utilizing a 90 year-old glass jar lid, and sections of vintage bathroom window glass, it pairs the "starburst" textured pattern with the smooth translucence of the neutral tone art glass.  This piece also floats within the painted canvas-stretcher frame.
