Beach Beauty Mosaic

As artists, we create with the expectation that our work will leave us. Knowing it will bring joy to its new owner is part of the fulfillment of creating....at least for me!!

This piece would be no different....or so I thought. But after I grouted, polished, and placed it on an easel for a photo, it spoke to me in a way I can't explain. It was somehow different than any other piece I'd ever made. And so, I kept it!!! A first for me.  

It brings a bit of life to my sunporch and brings me joy every time I walk by it. ??
