Upcycled Sunshine

Originally found at a thrift store painted all gold, the orange glass was added before using steel wool to remove the old gold paint (with plans to repaint it). Finding the gorgeous blue glass underneath the gold paint was a treasure, and elevated the work ten-fold. 

Solder was painted with a paint pen, and fairy lights were super glued around the back so you can enjoy the sun or moonlight 24/7. 

In keeping with the theme, I will be asking it's new owner (when I find one) to use rechargeable batteries.
