Silvano's Sparrow

This piece was made as a gift to a very spiritually inspiring and talented friend. The hand of God holding a sparrow reminds us that none of us are too insignificant to be ignored by God's Blessings. The piece was an original pattern made from scrap stained glass. I included a subtle etched inscription in the cloud that says "His Eye is on the Sparrow". The frame was in my pile of collected stuff waiting for the perfect project. On the back, I glued a veenered piece of wood with the verse and song relating to the Sparrow theme and left a margin for a personalized message for the recipient.
