Love Trumps Hate

When I began this sculpture I wanted to express the positive that could come out of the anger and divisiveness that we are immersed in.    It is possible. Ask Alice: the queen was a most abrasive tyrant; barking insults, and off-handed threats. Blink, and you'll see the indefatigable smile of the calculating, curious, cat.   Engrossed in her own tantrum, the queen doesn't notice the cat slipping under her ostentatious robes. Here, the queen and cat are captured in the moment just before knowing emerges.
