Polychaete Worms

 The piece is based on a class of marine worms called Polychaeta. The blown cylinder is colored for the tube worm species; Splotched red on the inside to represent the hemoglobin-rich worm, and overlayed with white to represent it's calcium tube. On the outside of the cylinder is a bristle worm made from body wraps and solid bitwork.
