Mary and Her Little Lamb

Little Mary is out on a spring day taking her young lamb for a walk. Mary is wearing a purple sundress and has bare feet, and she is holding her lamb's leash. (even though this lamb would follow her anywhere-even to school!)

This item is made in two pieces and then layered together. The bottom background is the green grass, blue sky, and tree, which are soldered together and then edged with a piece of lead came. The top part consists of Mary and the lamb. They are attached to the background so it looks like they are walking in the grass. A 10 inch nickel plated chain is added in order to hang the piece up. The circle is 6 inches in diameter.
