Real pressed flowers in stain glass

My stain glass pieces feature real pressed flowers between bevels and stain glass surrounded by decorative soldering. I use the soldering to hide the uneven seams and high light the flowers. Over the years I've learned that only certain flowers that maintain their color. After moving to Fox Run a senior living community in Novi five years ago, I didn't expect to continue my stain glass but met Fred Wiegand who worked in Hobby Shop doing beautil stain glass and he invited me to continue my work in stain glass. So I have continued to make my pieces for gifts and also make custom windows for my neighboors and they can pick out their designs, flowers and the type of glass they want.
