Fused Glass Platter: Wild Flowers by the Lake.

Springtime is my favorite time to see the magic of nature and the new growth in the outdoors. My inspiration was to go outside.

This platter is both functional as a serving tray and pretty as a display piece to just looke at and enjoy.. It measures 12 x 10 x 1 1/2.

The base (two layers} were full fused. Then the frit was added and it was fused again (That just made it easier to add the additional pieces without disturbing the frit.. Then the decorative pieces were added and countor fused. Then the entire piece was slumped into the mold..
