Description:
The original three angels were purchased in Milford, Ct. U.S.A., at an antique store/outlet - seen in the center photo with two Christmas tree ornaments. My replication version came about as a project for a stained glass class (introduction to) while here in San Miguel de Allende, GTO Mexico. (The historic Centro of San Miguel with the multiple Churches of various time periods are seen in the background). I had shipped my glass to San Miguel to assemble while enjoying retired life in this historic town in Mexico. Due to broken glass from shipping, I decided to take an introduction to stained glass class to find sources of glass and to meet like minded folks of stained glass works. The photo from the studio is of my instructor (Saulglass Gallery - Susana Alonso at Fabrica la Aurora) and myself with our version. I included a photo of the head reflecting the halo of the original verses our time limited project which unfortunately does not have the center hole. Please look into Susana as her history and work in Stained Glass has depth, flexibility and the ability to change by "we can try that just to see what happens" [example - books are attached as being held towards the angels not presented outwards by the angels].
