Luke 9:23 - Stained Glass Panel

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

I am so inspired by this bible verse.  We all have "addictions" that we fight in our lives.  This piece represents Jesus breaking the chains that bind us.  

It was created with cathedral glass, glass from broken wine bottles and an old bottle that I found behind my house when I was a child in 1976.  It fell off the window ledge one day and I couldn't toss it out..   A year later, a prayer brought this piece forth.
