Sea Odessey

Kiln slumped bowl, measuring 10 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.  Created from a kiln glass bar and two rows of cuts from the bar, colors included various blues, white & beige to represent the water & surf, as well as adventurine green, red, black and yellow.  These very small representations of colors other than blue remind us of the seaweed & various reef colors to be found just beyond the surf.  The intense bubble base in the bottom of the bowl continues the water theme through the piece.
