Coral Reef Vessel

Layers of powdered Bullseye glass and frit underwent successive firings to create an ivory coral structure that was then fused to a layer of turquoise and Caribbean blue Bullseye sheet glass and carefully slumped into a deep vessel. The contrast of the opaque coral and translucent sheet glass create an interesting visual that allows for light to pass through the piece, changing how it is viewed depending on the light. This piece is 15 inches in diameter by 10 inches in height.
