I did these two bonnets in tandem of one another. About 5 months work. I utilized a 15" MDF circle and a styrofoam ball half covered with rigid wrap. The round circles were fused in my kiln. Tesserae was applied next using wellbond glue. Grouted. And finally the flower bouquet of jewels was applied.
