The inspiration for this panel came from photographs of Joffre Lake, British Columbia.
Joffre Lake is not one lake but three, which are called Lower, Middle, and Upper Joffre Lakes, each one more beautiful than the last. Joffre Lakes are famous for their bright blue waters. The surreal, turquoise colour is a result of rock flour (glacial silt) and the sunlight reflecting on the surface of the lake.
These glorious lakes are located off the Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler. Take the hike and fall in love with the natural beauty of province.
