Sacred Geometry Mosaic

This stained glass mosaic mandala design was created in my studio so is one of a kind. A mandala is designed from the inside out and is a meditative practice for me. Each piece is created with care and intention. Beginning in the center the pieces are fitted together like a puzzle and the design evolves from there.

This piece features a sacred geometry pattern at its center. Sacred geometry explores the mathematical patterns found in nature and the cosmos.  These shapes, like the circle, square, and triangle, are often considered sacred, and believed to hold deep spiritual significance.

The tiny pieces are hand-cut, glued to a glass panel and mounted in a sturdy black wooden frame then finished with a clear grout.

The pieces measures 9.25 x 9.25 inches. It comes with a 3 inch acrylic dowel that can be inserted into the back of the frame to form a stand. It is ready to display on a table or shelf. To show off the beautiful colors, place near a light source so each facet can catch the light and make it sparkle.

The glass is translucent so the colors will look different depending on the lighting. Photos taken both in direct sunlight and artificial light.
