Saturn in Snow

"Saturn in Snow" is a medium-sized fused glass dish.  Starting with a white glass sheet placed on top of a clear sheet, clear glass chips are placed all around a rounded, blue variegated piece.  When full fused, the resulting piece resembles snow or ice surrounding what I see as a planet, hence "Saturn in Snow".  The piece was then slumped to form a dish.  Very pleased with the turnout! A very solid piece that is interesting to look at from all different angles!
