Mt Olympus Daybreak

The piece was inspired by a photo I took from High Divide on a backpacking trip in Olympic National Park. The piece is 9.5" x 13", consists of six layers of glass, and weighs 9.75 pounds. The image was created by "painting" with and sifting powdered glass frit. Eight full fuse firings were required to complete the piece.
