Guarding The Treasure

My neice and nephew asked that I create a window for there newborn daughter Fraya.  They asked that it include an Octopus, Angler Fish and be in 'Steam-Punk' style.  These are not items I would expect to see in a nursery, but that's OK and part of the design challange.

 My nephew is from Somoa and Fraya in Somoan means Treasure, so Guarding the Treasure was born.  Using multiple colors and textures of glass with additional gears, Somoan coins and family photos I created a piece that may seem over complicated but tells their story.
