Diveheart Fantasy

90 COE, 4 layer fused panel. This piece was made for my niece. She's a member of Diveheart, which is an organization that helps people with special needs experience the wonders of diving. The quiet beauty of the sea is calming & peaceful to people on the spectrum. I tried to capture that feeling for my niece. She doesn't show emotion easily, but when she unwrapped this, she was gobsmacked & wouldn't stop hugging it. Luckily it is an inch thick & 14 inches wide, so it could take all the 'love '. To see her joy was priceless. Art is inclusive and speaks a language that everyone can understand.
