Clock of Firsts

As an ambitious beginner I was learning how to cut straight lines on a color block project. I thought another plate would be boring so I thought I'd try a clock! It became: First time using frit, first time drilling a hole in a final fired piece, first time using a stencil, first time figuring out how to install clock parts (that worked!), and first time figuring out how to securely hang a work of glass. It reminded me not to be afraid of trying new things!
