Patches in Glass

My son's best friend for many years has been his dog Patches.  Patches is currently 13 years old and showing signs of that age.  I wanted to give my son something that served as a reminder of that special friendship.  After finding an appropriate picture of Patches, I set to designing this stained glass portrait.  I built the wooden frame and stand to complete the piece.  My son opted to hang the piece in a transom window in his living room.  I have included the picture of Patches that I used to create this.  The framed piece is about 13" wide by 11" tall.
