Virgen de Guadalupe

This art work was made with smalti (bizantino) and vitreous glass tiles(venezian) on a solid surface of wood.   

My inspiration to do this work came from something personal and I tried to transfer this inspiration into a mosaic work  " The Virgen of Guadalupe". I tried to create a feeling of peace, an emotion that extends beyond  the work.
