Girl with Dog

This is another custom order, a gift from husband to wife. The client asked if I could make a window for his wife's birthday, using the photo provided. It was challenge, especially woman's hair. Black glass is totally opaque, and I didn't want a big dark void in the window.  I opted to use a slightly textured black waterglass and instead of laying the pieces of her hair flat, I angled them at different degrees to help reflect some light. I am very happy with how this window turned out.
