Birch in a Box Mosaic

This mosaic started with a vignette inside a small cigar box. The scene in the cigar box was created with colored glass and mirror. The cigar box was then mounted on a live edge slab of wood, and the mosaic was continued with crockery and glass around the cigar box. A small wooden frame was mosaicked and placed on top of the cigar box.

The size is 10" wide x 12.75" high x 2.5" high.

This was a piece that was part of a show called "Love Out of the Box."
