Luna Night

Fused glass Luna moth and moon were created using glow powders, frit and Glassline paints. One photo shows the natural glass colors in daylight. The UV light used creates an intense glowing effect. The Luna moth and moon were created separately and the moth was epoxied to the moon to maintain its three dimensional shape. Multiple firings in the kiln made soft bends in the wings and tail.
