This is the first piece I did at a workshop given by Tom Snyder. Ever since seeing his work featured by Delphi I looked forward to attending one of his workshops on glass mosaics. He is amazingly patient and a genuinely nice person. It was a thrill to be able to meet him and work along side him for three days.
I mosaiced over the top of this solid cherry dog feeding station using Van Gogh glass in copper and green that I purchased from Delphi. While there are many colors available this still remains one of my favorites. I recently purchased a Morton cutting system from Delphi and am looking forward to many happy hours cutting very small, very precise pieces of Van Gogh glass for my next project.

Thank you for the compliment. I've heard good things about the Morton system and the man who owns the local stained glass shop here in Pensacola gave me a quick demonstration. I'm actually done mosaicing my 'next' project--a bathroom vanity--but have to do some repairs to the cabinet itself. I'm excited about getting it done and into our half-bath. Photos to come. You can see some that Tom Snyder has done on his site. P.S. He also does amazing fused glass installations. Thanks again, Day
