Poetry In Ice

Poetry In Ice is a piece from my, appropriately named, 'Ice Sculpture' series. With great intensity and beauty, Poetry In Ice emits a glow of beautiful colors, seemingly captured in ice.  With its sheer veils of magenta, blues, tangerine, and greens, it is truly exquisite!

Beautifully worked, sterling silver, filagree attaches Poetry In Ice to its, also, handcrafted sterling necklace.
It measures 1 3/4" x 3" Necklace is adjustable, up to 24" in length, by hooking each hook into loops at opposite sides for desired length.

Focal Piece has been handcrafted of fused dichroic, and art glasses. As with all of my pieces, Ice Rhapsody has been carefully hand sculpted (not molded), shaped and drilled, using diamond bits after its first fusing; then is refired, cooled slowly for strength and stability, and assembled into its necklace.
