My Silver Rose

I choose the fine silver wire for my Ring of Fire Challenge. I have a Studio 8 Kiln that I play around with, but my main focus is stained glass. I enjoyed creating this vase/votive candle holder using the fine silver wire. The roses were formed with 3 ½ feet of the silver wire, and colored with mica powder and fusible enamels. I also work with System 96 Glass so I choose the X100 clear glass for my surface and X60001 clear hand-rolled iridized glass for my back ground. Using the 3” high mold from the candle cup set I was able to form my vase/votive candle holder. This is my first competition and I have enjoyed the creative challenge! Thank you. Ginger Bollman
