Upcycled Tulip Shelf

     I combined my love of photography, glass and upcycling vintage items to make this one-of-a-kind shelf.  The process began with a progression of tulip photos that I had taken, and the Color Slide product ordered from Delphi.  I followed the instructions to combine my photos and some clear glass, then did some glass mosaics using a variety of art glass and attached everything to a background piece. The old scratched up mirror was removed from the top of a quartersawn oak buffet, and the three panels were hung with gold chains.  The look is definitely more contemporary now, and would look nice with a variety of decorating styles.  Best of all, I enjoyed learning about a new product and had fun with the process.
