Dressage

This panel was designed using Glass Eye 2000 and a photo I took at a dressage show in Florida.  I'd always wanted to capture the essence of the horse in stained glass.  Many of the patterns I'd seen of horses were too generic for my liking.  I've been a long time show horse owner,trainer, rider and showing the beauty of the different breeds appealed to me.  This panel is approximately 32" x 45".  It is of copperfoil construction.  I really enjoyed making it from the design to the manufacture.  The frame is adjustible U Zinc, that has been soldered and touched with a wet Q-tip to achieve a rough texture so that it could be patinaed the same color as the solder in the panel.
