How do I choose the correct adhesive for my mosaic project? Weldbond adhesive is excellent for flat surfaces such as tabletops. When you start to work on 3-D projects like candle shelters, pots, or birdhouses you will want to use the silicone adhesive or liquid nails. These are thicker adhesives and will hold your glass in place rather than allowing them to slide with gravity. How do I use the mosaic mesh product? Lay your pattern on your work bench. Cover the pattern with plastic wrap. Next lay the mosaic mesh down on top of the pattern and glue your tiles/glass onto the mesh. Weldbond works great. Once the glue is dry pick up the mesh, peel the plastic wrap off the back and adhere the mesh onto your wall using mastic.
