I love this cutting system. keeps me straight. Before I got this I could not hand cut two pieces the same size. It is easy to use over and over.

Just a tiny bit too long for my workspace. When I get a real set up my counters will be the normal size and it will be perfect.

Density of white wispy really varies. If you care a lot about how much white is in the piece you buy, I'd recommend shopping in person.

Good mandrels and tool. No weird misshapen ones and the end cuts are clean.

Need to be burned and scraped with pliers or another tool to prepare them before use to get any residue off and make the bead release stick, which takes some minor effort. But you need to do this, or you will lose your beads so be aware. Once broken in like this they are great.

I only had steel before this, and it performs very differently - the glass slides across the graphite and doesn't cool down so dramatically. Much better. Very light and easy to use for glass shaping.

The Silberschnitt Pad comes with a rubber cutting pad. The tool is simple to put together and cuts strips of stained glass with little pressure.

I discovered the pad moved on my table, so I simply put a couple of damp paper towels underneath to hold it in place while I cut my strips.

Best investment I’ve made. I purchased both the standard and long rail to cut larger pieces of glass for the studio and use it all the time. Straight cuts every time
