I just started playing with this amazing materials about a month ago. Makes working with the kiln to "cook" glass so easy. Great for newbies who want to get started but don't care that one size will pickup the mat texture.

Nice and Big. Great Costumer Service!
Cons
Not always packaged well.
Other Thoughts

Cons
It takes a long time in the kiln.

Pros
When that small project isn't quite perfect, it takes off that small edge you didn't want to be there!
Cons
Other Thoughts
Make sure you get the face shield.
Pros
can make an interesting paperweight with scrap
Cons
Make sure you have it filled sufficiently or the finished product will be unbalanced and not stand.
Even following the suggested firing schedules you will get a lot of bubbles.
Other Thoughts
If using a design, as pictured, it is difficult to weigh you glass. Make sure you weight the mold first, then again after filling and add more clear to the top if needed.
Pros
If you like a surprise, have a versatile use and need an economical source for groups, this is your pack.
Cons
Not always knowing exactly what you'll get can be a challenge.
Other Thoughts
We've found that working with what arrives, gives spontaneous inspiration for a certain project once the students see a sheet.
Pros
Save money! Use this clear frit to save your colors.
Cons

When we first started fusing, we didn't realize that we could use this transparent frit to lengthen the life of our colored frit jars. Don't make our mistake. This jug goes along way in small frit-fusing molds.
Pros
We've had some of these in our classroom for 18 years.
Cons
Once the blade is dull, it's basically done. I'd love to see the model adapted to replace the cutting wheel.
Other Thoughts
We've found that having the oil in the handle is just a status symbol. This guy works great.
Pros
It's size works as a small tree ornament or as a pendant for those who like large jewelry.
Cons
We found that the hole maker was weak and it broke.
Other Thoughts
We have HS students using these, so It's possibly our error. I just wish these tiny bits were reinforced somehow.
Pros
This iron is long-lasting while standing up to student abuse. We used to buy the Inland irons and this one is the closest we've found.
Cons
A few of the 15 that we have don't allow the replacement tip to slide in due to a variation in either the tip circumference or the iron circumference. It could be a slight rust issue with the older ones.
Other Thoughts
Pros
The detail in the pattern is sharp and transfers well into glass. It's deep enough to create a ridge for color separation or line contours in one color fill.
Cons
They are a bit large and take quite a bit of glass to fill.
Other Thoughts
If you're looking for a yard or large indoor pot decoration, these work for either. These are a favorite in our fundraiser.
