I am new to fusing and have only been working with and in glass for a few years now, basically cold working lass until I was given my first microwave kiln. I was then hooked on fusing. I have been able to achieve some amazing glass fusing moving up to this electric kiln! It takes some time and some experimenting to find out just what this kiln can do but once you have figured out times to set then you can make some very beautiful things.

I out grew this kiln after a year or so and graduated to a much larger kiln but in my very small studio this kiln worked out just great for me.

I would not hesitate to recommend this kiln to a beginner in glass and Delphi has always been there to help answer any questions I had along the way. As I said in the beginning OUTSTANDING KILN for the money

Haven't used in a project yet but I will soon. Love the color selection and the way the streakies pair well with other opals and transparents. I'll make a small panel with the colors I ordered soon to see what it's like to work with. Please note that somehow I gave only 3 stars to other Tiffany Today colors. That was accidental. I meant to give all but one (Mermaid Dreams) 4 stars. These are decent glasses to add to my workshop stock.

This is my first kiln, I can't compare it to others. I was excited to get it but nervous to use it the first time. When I finally did fire a piece though, it was more straightforward than I thought. I placed it in my workshop atop cement blocks (set as instructed in the directions) which are on top of a piece of drywall. I have a dedicated outlet to plug it into. The biggest issue I have with it is navigating the TAP Controller interface. Scrolling the list of selections is funky and sometimes I had to start over completely because it would get "stuck" and wouldn't allow me to select anything to move forward. I raised the kiln up a bit higher with another set of cement blocks so that I can sit in a chair and see the Controller better, and I got a stylus which works way better than using my fingertip to tap selections. I still have not used this kiln extensively because of some things that took priority in my life, but I'm back at it now and looking forward to it. I'm happy to have it.

I ordered one sheet each of several transparents and a couple of the Opals to give this glass a try. I haven't incorporated this piece into a project yet but I will soon.The price makes this glass more affordable than some others. It was well-packaged for shipping and arrived without any breakage. Depending on how it cuts and looks in a finished piece, I'll keep this glass on my list for certain future projects.

I ordered one sheet each of several transparents and a couple of the Opals to give this glass a try. I haven't incorporated this piece into a project yet but I will soon. I like the colors though as with any patterned/streaky glass, when you order online, what you receive is not the same as the example piece and in this case, I probably would not have chosen this specific piece in person, but I'll find the right use for it. The price makes this glass more affordable than some others. It was well-packaged for shipping and arrived without any breakage. Depending on how it cuts and looks in a finished piece, I'll keep this glass on my list for certain future projects.

I haven't incorporated it into a project yet but I will soon (a small stained glass panel to show off the colors and hang in my shop for inspiration). The price makes this glass more affordable than some types. It was well-packaged for shipping and arrived without any breakage. Depending on how it cuts and looks in a finished piece, I'll keep this glass on my list for certain future projects.
