Product Reviews
Pros
I like these nuggets for small mosaic products. I have used them with glitter behind them for a great effect also.

Pros
This was my first kiln, it is easy to fire and setup your own programs. I fired with two shelves and post with no problems. Very economical and inexpensive to run. I love the fiber walls, easy to keep clean and no dust. I am glad this was my first kiln to learn glass work on. I can count on it to give me great results. The size was good for my small space. The outside remains cool and didn't heat up my studio. I have a larger kiln now but still use this one almost as much. I can do smaller loads quickly. I still have the versatility of trying new things without firing up my large kiln.

I haven't used the bead door but who knows. I prefer to be versatile and open for future projects.
Pros
This is a great way to try royal glass before committing to an expensive larger piece.
Cons
This glass can be a bit tricky to work with. That is the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. I put a paper towel on my cutting surface to help protect the fragile coating from getting damaged.
Other Thoughts
Would love to see this glass pack available in slightly larger pieces. 6x6 would be great.
Pros
Really like using this tool, it's perfect for my hand size and saves my fingers from cramping when holding a small piece of glass!

Pros
This actually works very well. Works well for grinding small items. I do feathers with long sharp points. This works great for pieces like that. Less breakage on the sharp tips with this. Ordering two more!

Pros
Very pretty glass
Cons
changes color with firing at 1350 hold 5 you get a very nice gold, better than the unfired glass, at 1465 hold 0 you get blue and purple splotches that are attractive above that temperature you probably will get all purple.

Test first
Pros
I use these all the time and have never had any problems. I do clean them well before tinning.
Cons
none
Other Thoughts
I always buff them clean and shiny before tinning, which helps a lot.
Pros
Thought they were rather expensive at first, but they are really well made and super easy. Heat your glass, quench in cold water, smash a bit, and then stack your sifters - smallest on the bottom and graduate to the largest on top. Shake your frit down in size, and it's done!
Cons
The whole process is a bit time consuming, but it does save you money in the long run.
Other Thoughts
No waste of your glass. Only sifters I've seen that will give you real powder.
