Pros : Beautiful glass --looks stunning in person. Easy to cut.
Cons : Black backing can flake, but if you cut carefully and break along the score it usually doesn't flake.
Other Thoughts : WELL worth the money for mosaic projects. Beautiful in the light--I mix with other mirror glass for beautiful results. Try a sheet!

Pros : great glass for mosaics, cuts like butter, can touch up back with a black paint pen if it gets scratched.
Cons : should be treated like mirror, but not a real problem. Should be ground using the fine grit. I use a piece of window screen on top of my grinder and grind it with the backing facing up
Other Thoughts : I'm a mosaic artist.I live in the town where van gogh glass is made. I use it quite often in my work; and to be a hand painted product it is very close from batch to batch sheet to sheet, I have used it for years, It's sole purpose is mosaics, but works for wall hangings and boxes, etc

Pros : i love this glass and have used it for years. the foil backing gives it so much depth, it adds an extra dimension to projects that i use it for.
Cons : yes, it requires special handling - but in my experience it is not as fragile as the first reviewer says, you just need to be aware and make sure your tile nippers are sharp. it is worth it
Other Thoughts : everyone who sees this glass in a project loves it.

Pros : Has an interesting pattern in the foil.
Cons : I can't really recommend this glass to anyone. The color is in the foil laminated to clear glass. It has to be handled very gently. the foil is very easy to scrape off and has to be ground and cut with a saw with the glass down. I was very disappointed with the glass.
