@Cindy C. Cindy- I believe this artist used a mold shaped like a wine bottle. You are correct in that actual wine bottles should not be combined with fusible glass. We do not recommend this since the COE of wine bottles is unknown.
Very pretty! Did you use a COE glass on top of the bottles? I have read that COE's and float glass are not compatible with wine bottles. If you did use COE, and had no problem, that would be great! I'd love to combine the two. One can be much more creative, and it definitely adds much more interest.
