About MasterCraft
Solder choice shows in the finished bead more than almost anything else in copper foil work. MasterCraft supplies the common stained glass alloys: 60/40 stays workable through a slightly wider temperature range, which makes it forgiving while you learn to run a smooth bead; 63/37 is eutectic, moving from liquid to solid quickly and setting crisply, which suits detailed work and decorative beading.
Lead-free is stocked for pieces that will be handled often, used around food or made for children. Delphi carries MasterCraft in both smaller quantities for a single project and full pounds for studios working continuously. Solder keeps indefinitely if stored dry, so there is little reason to run out mid-panel.
