Product Description

Create with Premium Bullseye Glass!
Premium handmade Bullseye glass is ideal for high-quality kiln work. Specifically formulated and tested for compatibility, this glass withstands multiple firings for complex projects without devitrification. The flatter double-rolled surface minimizes bubble entrapment, so colors can be layered for custom hues. A subtle "catspaw" texture allows modest light transmission when used in stained glass projects, creating an organic look.

The Standard thickness is 3 mm. 90 COE.

Checkerboard project from "A Beginner's Guide To Kiln-Formed Glass" book #6644. Penguin ornament by Delphi artist Andrew Steele. Snowman ornament by Delphi artist Danielle Wagner.

  •   Good technique helps...

Pros : I've never had problems with Bullseye glass, black or otherwise. Great consistency of color, predictable firing results make for enjoyable work.
Cons : None.
Other Thoughts : I've found that as long as the cutting wheel is perpendicular on the smoother side of the glass, (as most instructions for any type of glass recommend) and most importantly, well-oiled, cutting and breaking is predictable, certainly no more trouble than other glasses. Bullseye has excellent reference material available online to get the most out of their products without the headache.

  •   Fusible Black Opal Bullseye

Pros : Great depth of color, many styles to choose from with a black base. Fuses and refuses again and again, holds up with no devit. But, keep it clean!
Cons : ALL Bullseye is hard to cut! You have to hold your cutter perfectly perpendicular to the glass, make a good, clean score, and run the break from both ends.
