Large Gryphon Core Bit Value Pack

Product Description

Gryphon's core drill bits for glass artists feature the same high quality coating as their well-respected grinder bits. Diamond bits quickly and easily remove a complete circle in glass. Core bits work with a standard electric drill and only need water as a lubricant.

Pack includes three sizes: 25mm, 32mm and 40mm.  These sizes are approximately equal to 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2". Perfect for projects from jewelry to table fountains, lamps and more.

Shown below are examples of projects that can be created using core drill bits. Artist Melanie Churchill used a core drill bit to cut a perfect circle from fused glass to form the sparkling pendant, then fire polished and attached the fusible bail as a second firing. Water lily table fountain by artist Teresa Batten was created with fused flower molds and assembled using a core drill bit to accommodate the fountain and water flow. Fused glass pendant lamps by artist Val Oswalt. Fused glass sink by artists Val Oswalt and Roy Kapp was created using a core drill bit to create the hole to accommodate plumbing.
