Glassline Pen - Turquoise

Glassline Pen - Turquoise

Item# 802005
More baby blue than turquoise, January 15, 2011 4 stars
Pros
This was a very good consistency and flowed well using the glassline tips. I have used glassline for some time and overall am very pleased. It is great for fine detail.
Cons
The color for me turned out to be a pro as it is a nice shade of "baby blue", but it is definitely NOT turquoise. I would suggest looking at the PATINA color of glassline for turquoise.
Other Thoughts
You must shake this product very well before using. Always test before applying to your project as it can be watery when first coming out. Let lines dry to determine if there is cracking.

Truly a dark forest green color, January 15, 2011 5 stars
Pros
I was very happy with this glassline color. The consistency was perfect to work with the glassline tips. (some colors can be thick & gloppy)
Cons
It is a deep dark forest green. The picture on-line looks teal green, which is deceptive.
Other Thoughts
Use the glassline tips for fine detail. Let your glassline dry before firing as it may crack. You can "scratch" off any bleed lines after it dries. It is MUCH easier than trying to wipe it off when wet (if it is a small mistake).

Thick consistency; Color is a peachy skin-tone, January 15, 2011 3 stars
Pros
This color would be perfect if you are looking for a peachy "skin-tone".
Cons
I was hoping for a more beige color. It has too much orange/peach shade to it for my use. Also it was VERY thick. I have used a ton of other glassline colors and only this, the red and the metallic copper have been gloppy thick. Disappointing.
Other Thoughts
If you are looking for a lighter beige, check out glassline IVORY. It is a very nice consistency and a more beige color.
Glassline Pen - Metallic Copper

Glassline Pen - Metallic Copper

Item# 802017
Consistency was way too thick, January 15, 2011 3 stars
Pros
I normally LOVE glassline pens. They are great for drawing fine detail and I use them regularly. The color is pretty and truly metallic.
Cons
This color was so thick and gloppy that it was impossible to get fine detail. It was so thick that it could not be used with the glassline tips. VERY disappointing.
Other Thoughts
I prefer the glassline gold as the consistency is great and you can get very fine detail. I also like the gold color better than the copper. I would use this if I could thin it somehow.

Very convenient, March 6, 2010 5 stars
Pros
I love the convenience of having this paper pre-cut!!! I have a 24" kiln and it fits perfectly. It is also easier to handle than a huge roll. You can break down the pieces to be smaller without having to have a huge table to roll the paper out onto for cutting. It is WAY easier to store also. I love the print on the back that automatically shows you the correct side for firing. VERY HANDY
Cons
Does stick more to the back of glass than a prior thinfire paper I was using. I feel that it is only good for one firing (contrary to other reviews).
Other Thoughts
Great product! I will continue to use it even though it is more expensive, the convenience is worth it!

Great size, March 6, 2010 4 stars
Pros
No need to prep kiln shelf with wash over and over. Convenient. Cut to fit perfectly in a 24" kiln. LOVE THAT!
Cons
Rougher texture than I am used to with Fiber Paper. VERY thin, would not work for too many firings
Other Thoughts
I'm used to a thicker fiber paper which I feel has better air flow. It also can be used for many firings without so much waste.
