They are usable in a bind.
Cons

Bye-Bye chipped glass, December 7, 2010 5 stars
Pros
Years ago I did not start out using twofers, but now I will use no other. Recently, I have found it to be getting very difficult to keep my glass from chipping for some reason. Once I switched brands of bits my time at the grinder is better well spent and my productivity has improved. My patience too!
Cons
They don't last quite as long, but since they are less expensive it works out.

Helps carpal tunnel symptoms, August 31, 2010 3 stars
Pros
I have carpal tunnel (due to pregnancy) this cutter really helps ease my symptoms.
Cons
I have used a supercutter for years with no problems. The first cut I made with this pistol grip cutter, oil leaked from the seams all over my hand...I do like the feel of the cutter so I will just use it with a few drops of cutting oil at a time.

A pleasure to use, July 14, 2010 5 stars
Pros
Grind with confidence. Not one risk of chipped glass with these bits. I will only use standard bits for really tough glass from now on.

Great for beginners or Pro's, July 14, 2010 5 stars
Pros
This iron is a pleasure to use. Beginners or pro's should not think twice about using an iron with temp control. (it took me years to discover)...It's a must. I wish I would have purchased this iron years ago!
Cons
No cons, that I can see.

Used without fail for 10 years!, July 14, 2010 5 stars
Pros
The best little grinder I have owned yet. I started using this grinder as a beginner.... It has now been 10 years and still working like a champ! I would guess it has over ten thousand hours on it. You can grind for hours at a time with no overheating. Allows you to drop your bits down all the way, utilizing every inch of bit surface.
Cons

A nightmare, July 14, 2010 1 stars
Pros
It is nice to have storage for bits and sponges.
Cons
Overheats and the motor seizes after 1/2 hour of grinding. (I have the legs on risers too, giving the motor plenty of air). Also, this grinder will not let you drop bits down all the way.

Never lets me down, July 12, 2010 5 stars
Pros
I have used this flux for 10 years. If you use the right flux brush, it goes on smooth and stays on.
Cons
I think you have to use brushes with real hair....the very inexpensive brushes have plastic brush tips.

One of my favorites, May 21, 2010 5 stars
Pros
The picture here does not do this glass justice. This is a beautiful glass and very easy to cut!
Cons
It is hard to color match two sheets. Buying a large sheet is a must with this glass.
